Our Background
Merali’s Chartered Accountants & Registered Auditors was set up in London by Mahmud Merali in 1978 to provide accountancy, auditing and consultancy services not only to UK based clients but also to clients based in the Middle East and North & East Africa. The firm currently has a portfolio of distinguished and highly respectable clientele.
Merali’s established a foothold in Africa and set up an office in Kenya in 1983 which is now Baker Tilly Merali’s, a member firm of Baker Tilly International, the 8th largest accountancy network in the world. Since then Baker Tilly Merali’s has flourished and now has offices in Uganda, Rwanda, and Somalia.
In 2006, Merali’s decided to venture new pastures in search of new challenges, a new addition to the family tree; Merali’s Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors Auditing Office in Dubai was set up; a registered member of the Accountants and Auditors Association of UAE and Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). With a professional yet individualistic approach, the work ethic at Merali’s Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors is that of hard work, honesty and trust. Further to our success in the Emirate of Dubai, Merali’s established a branch in Abu Dhabi in 2013 to expand our network and services and to share our expertise and knowledge to help businesses attain their goals.
